Stay in style at BoHo Hotel Prague

Even though it is the most tourist packed city I have ever been to I love to come back once in a while to wonderful Prague in order to stroll the cobblestoned old town and to have some beers in one of the historic Czech beer halls. The range of accomodation leads from extremely cheap hostels with dorms up to top luxury hotels of international reputation and there is certainly something for every taste and purse in the city on the Moldau. If you are a fan of boutique style hotels a save and excellent choice is the Boho Hotel just around the corner of the Powder Gate and of Obecni Dum. I enjoyed every minute there!

The contemporary designed hotel is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World and is housed in a historic building with high ceilings and terrazzo floors in the stairwell. We stayed in a superior room of around 35qm, elegantly furnished with modern and functional furniture and a stylish bathroom. The colour pallet of grey, beige and light petrol blue combined with wooden floors creates a living room style which really makes you feel at home. A room you don’t want to leave….

We were welcomed in our room by homemade delicious nut brownies and received a complementary water bottle every day, which I highly appreciate when travelling. The hotel team was extremely friendly and created a fresh atmosphere with their smiling faces. I could feel that they liked to work at BoHo Hotel and had fun interacting with their guests. In case you are travelling to Prague by car make sure to book a parking spot at the hotel – they will take care about your car on arrival and bring it back whenever needed.

Sometimes I like to skip breakfast and to sleep in, but not at BoHo Hotel – it is delicious! They offer a range of egg dishes which you may choose from the menu including a “In Good health” omelette made purely of egg whites, herbes and tomatoes. Different types of bread are served, avocado sandwiches are yummy, cakes are homemade and so good I had too much every morning. Unfortunately I did not have the chance to try out a dinner at the restaurant, where you may watch the chefs in an open kitchen, preparing international and healthy dishes.
